Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Foldlight Bureau, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use and delete the application from your device.

Foldlight Bureau Interactive grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play Foldlight Bureau on iOS hardware that you own or lawfully control. The software is licensed to you, not sold. All intellectual property, trademarks, visual art, audio cues, and puzzle designs remain the sole property of Foldlight Bureau Interactive.

You agree to use Foldlight Bureau solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You expressly agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract source code, except where strictly permitted by applicable law.
• Modify, re-package, distribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the application or any of its embedded papercraft assets.
• Circumvent or tamper with local integrity mechanisms, device sandboxes, or Apple platform security layers.
• Incorporate any proprietary artwork, mascot designs, or gameplay rules into competing commercial software.

Foldlight Bureau provides an offline campaign featuring 42 Day Leaf puzzles, the First Fold onboarding tutorial, Pattern Lab exercises, Light Bench tool modifications, and the Archive Wall replay vault. Game progression, tool unlocks, and completion badges depend on your tactical pathfinding decisions and the documented topological rules of each board.

Because Foldlight Bureau operates with a local-first architecture where player campaign records are saved on device without cloud sync, you are solely responsible for maintaining the physical security and system backups of your device. Executing "Reset All Local Data" or uninstalling the app permanently purges all progress, replay logs, and player notes. Foldlight Bureau Interactive cannot retrieve locally deleted records.

All visual themes, paper sculpture styling, original mascot artwork, custom sound effects, animations, and level layouts are original creations protected under copyright and international intellectual property treaties. All rights are reserved by Foldlight Bureau Interactive.

Foldlight Bureau is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Foldlight Bureau Interactive does not warrant that gameplay will be uninterrupted or error-free, but provides built-in local checkpoint recovery to protect gameplay state.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable jurisdiction laws, Foldlight Bureau Interactive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your download, use of, or inability to use the software.

Foldlight Bureau Interactive reserves the right to release maintenance patches, balance adjustments, or content enhancements through the App Store to maintain software stability and platform compatibility.

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, excluding conflict of law rules, while preserving any mandatory local consumer protections available to you.
